About Us
Tina Sensing is the Owner of Sensing Transitions. She worked in the senior industry for many years, in marketing, resident services and property management, before creating Sensing Transitions. Tina holds an MBA from Mercer University in Atlanta, also attended UGA and is a member of the American Society of Estate Liquidators. When not working, Tina can be found spending time with family and friends, and her 14 pets, ranging from llamas to chickens.
Melissa Zgonc, Design Manager
With compassion and respect for every family she serves, Melissa brings an experienced eye for detail to each estate sale. With a strong knowledge in pricing and a keen eye for presentation, she takes pride in making each home beautiful, thoughtfully staging items so they are showcased at their very best. Melissa is a native to Cobb County and lives in Powder Springs with her husband, Kevin, and their lively menagerie of animals. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, and cheering on the Atlanta Hawks.
Doug Welch, Jedi of Logistics
Always ready to help everyone he meets, Doug brings warmth and dedication to all he does. An Indiana native, Doug and his family came to Georgia in 1988. He's been in customer service throughout his life. Outside of work, Doug is a huge sci-fi aficionado, a comic book junkie, writing, hiking, and loves to bake cookies using Mama Pat's prize recipe, Doug’s selfless spirit and kindness brighten every job he touches.

Ricky Ramirez, Team Member
Ricky brings so much fun and joy to his work. He has worked in maintenance for many years. Tina and Ricky worked together at a retirement community dating back to the late 90s. Ricky and his partner, Johnny, love spending time watching football and taking their dogs to the park. Ricky also loves to pet sit, and help with Tina's farm animals.
Joanne Benson, Team Member
Born in Birmingham, UK, Joanne moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2007. She is the wife of a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, mother of a teenage daughter, and co-founder of the nonprofit Animal Institute, dedicated to animal protection. Through her work with Sensing Transitions, Joanne has developed a knowledge of antiques and collectibles, helping families navigate meaningful life changes while uncovering unique treasures. She feels honored to play a small part in both preserving precious memories and fostering new beginnings.
Natalie Stutts, Team Member
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Natalie moved to Atlanta in 2017 with her husband and three children. Her love for antiques began in childhood, accompanying her mother to shops and estate sales, and has grown into a passion for curating unique finds. She brings that same enthusiasm and attention to detail to her work in estate sales, while enjoying time outdoors and making memories with her family.
Lisa Bosley, Team Member
Lisa lives in Dallas, GA and is a proud University of Georgia alumni, Go Dawgs! At UGA Lisa met her late husband, and together raised two wonderful kids, and their beloved dog, Allie. When Lisa isn't working with Sensing Transitions she co-manages an antique store. She can also be found shelling at the beach, her all time favorite past-time. Being part of this team is more than just a job, its a joy. Lisa finds it incredibly rewarding to see the transformation of a space from start to finish, and she loves helping others find treasures that speak to them.
Dawn Irving, Team Member
Dawn has been part of the Sensing Transitions team since June 2024, bringing her lifelong passion for design to every estate sale. She loves staging each home to highlight its unique character and creating an inviting experience for customers on sale days. Originally from New York — and a New Yorker at heart no matter where she lives — Dawn now enjoys the Georgia weather and the opportunity it gives her to spend more time outdoors. She values the camaraderie of her coworkers and is dedicated to supporting families with warmth, care, and respect.
JJ Morrison, Team Member
JJ is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Kennesaw State University. He is on the Iota Theta Chapter of Delta Tau Delta executive board and currently serves as treasurer. He earned his Eagle Scout in 2024 and is a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association. In his free time he enjoys fishing and spending time in the outdoors.
